Senior Cleanroom Design and Construction Project Manager
Senior Cleanroom Design and Construction Project Manager needed for fast paced High Tech Consulting Company located in Tempe, Arizona. Started in 1985, AGI is an engineering consulting firm specializing in High Tech Industries such as Semiconductor, Flat Panel Display, Photovoltaics, Disc Drive, Nanotechnology, Biotech, Genomics and University Labs. 

Responsibilities:

> Project management and supervision of on site cleanroom and lab construction teams during projects from programming through construction administration and commissioning. Subcontractor supervision for Trades.
> Microsoft Project experience is required.
> Procurement, estimating and expediting experience is required.
> Field investigation and supervision work in tool fit-up and tool documentation for wafer fab, assembly, FPD, MEMS, disc drive, biochip, cleanroom research, Imaging, and photonics process areas. 
> Utility matrix review.   Utility and equipment database program review and field studies of tool requirements and utility/facility systems.
> Consulting on construction of semiconductor and FPD factories, pilot lines, and research and development centers, including constructability, cost, material handling, and cleanroom space and capital investment.
> Participate in engineering design and constructability reviews of cleanroom and imaging and lab facilities documents (Specifications, Drawings and submittals) as part of the design process, as a peer reviewer or as part of design and construction team.  AutoCAD layout review of microelectronics semiconductor and FPD manufacturing lines, including elevations, fit-up design and plan views of equipment.  Ability to perform design review on Architectural and MEP drawings with constructability comments. Formulate design review reports.   Generate RFIs, punch lists, inspection reports, QA audits, Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, and recommendations from walkthroughs of cleanrooms, labs, facilities areas, and imaging spaces under construction, prior to owner handoff. Requires familiarity with Cleanroom construction trades.
> Extensive travel (80 to 90%) is required for this candidate. Travel may include Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America, Australia or South America.  Fluency in Arabic, German, French, is a plus.
> Requires 5 to 10 years of experience in Cleanroom design and construction. Requires a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum, engineering experience preferred.

Qualifications:

> 5 to 15 years of Cleanroom Design and Construction experience.
> Plans and specs or Design/Build project experience inside and outside the USA required.
> Experienced in all facets of Industrial Engineering for University cleanrooms and laboratories, semiconductor, nanotechnology, photovoltaic, FPD, disc drive, biotechnology, MEMS and photonics manufacturing and testing cleanrooms and labs.
> Class 10 to Class 100,000 microelectronics and bio experience required.
> Experience with cleanrooms using hazardous process materials required.
> University, Lab and Commercial/Industrial cleanroom experience required.
> Extensive experience with subfab space optimization.
> Sufficient technical expertise to lead a design and/or construction team and to present solutions to clients.
> Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel and AutoCAD a plus.

Education: 

BS or BA in Engineering, Science, or Architecture Required. Professional Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) or Architectural license a plus.
