| Cleanroom Facilities Construction Specialist |
| The Cleanroom Facilities Construction Specialist will be assisting in the day to day activities of a project currently under construction, overseas. The facility will support existing researchers plus a significant number of students. Future assignments may also include extensive domestic or overseas travel. This person will assist the Construction Director and Project Engineers at the site. Requires technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a range of high technology construction experience. Basic knowledge in design and construction of all Cleanroom systems and distribution, such as Process Piping, Plumbing, High Purity Gas Lines, Double Containment high purity gas requirements, Acid Waste, DI Water,. Make Up Air handlers, Recirc Air Handlers, Fan Filter units, Cleanroom walls, plenums, CDA, PCW, PN2, N2, Power distribution, Toxic Gas monitoring, fire fighting systems, etc. Experienced with the following piping: Poly Pro, PVDF, Stainless, Copper. Responsibilities May Include: > Management of a project from conceptual design to final certification and hand over to client. > Management, coordination, and interface between clients, engineers and contractors > Strong crossover skills in the areas of HVAC principles, civil/structural/mechanical design, power wiring, and controls architecture > Familiarity with ASHRAE, ANSI, ASME, API, ADA, EPA, IEST, ISO, and OSHA Standards and Regulations > Commissioning and executing startup, test, adjustments, balance, qualification, validation, measurements, and performance verification of specialty production facilities > Pipefitter/Service, maintaining all aspects HVAC systems for contracted customers > Train and interface with users, perform various technical tasks > Possess understanding of engineering and product development processes > Possess knowledge sufficient to perform construction quality management > Troubleshooting cleanroom system performance during start up. > Vendor and material supplier interface. Minimum Qualifications: > Five to ten years experience in the construction of high technology facilities. Associates or Bachelors degree a plus! Bilingual experience preferred: English/French/Arabic Passport required, International Travel expected. Contract position, rate commensurate with experience/education.
